A Single Vision Maintained Intact

Thankfully!
Today’s Daily Reflection was written over 15 years ago and it’s meaning hasn’t changed, nor will it.
An Unbroken Tradition
“We conceive the survival and spread of Alcoholics Anonymous to be something of far greater importance than the weight we could collectively throw back of any other cause.”
“A fellowship whose aims are constant and unflagging.”
I want to do whatever I can to not be a part of anything that would change that!
“I am grateful that the energies of A.A. have never been scattered, but focused instead on our members and on individual sobriety.”
Has it dawned on you? AA is its own entity. Why? Because it isn’t scattered and I doubt any of its members could say the same
“My beliefs are what make me human; I am free to hold any opinion, but A.A.’s purpose – so clearly stated [65+] years ago – is for me to keep sober.”
And my disease’s purpose for me also remains the same – to convince me to find a way to kill me (and anyone it can take with us).
“A.A.’s single vision has lit a fire of faith in sobriety in millions of hearts, including mine.”
