vegcarnivallogocopy-1.jpgWelcome to a very special holiday edition of the vegetarian carnival. OK, so it’s not much different from a regular old edition of the carnival… I just felt like saying that.

Let’s start with some vegetarian recipes, just in case you still haven’t decided what to eat today while most of America chomps down on turkey. Jackie presents Easy as ABC Monday: Y is for yams posted at Kids Dish. Mapmaster presents Best-Ever Mushroom Sauce posted at Lisa’s Vegetarian Kitchen. Summer offers up a Native American Three Sisters Stew at Mom Is Teaching. Christine presents All Natural Honey Mustard Dressing at Me, My Kid and Life: An American Single Mom Living in France.

Looking for dessert ideas? Check out Tiffany Washko’s Raw Peach Cobbler posted at Natural Family Living Blog or Katy’s Ginger Crepes with Pumpkin Filling posted at sugarlaw.

How about breakfast? FitBuff presents 7 Easy Breakfast Recipes: Healthy Breakfast in Less Than 5 Minutes posted at FitBuff.com’s Total Mind and Body Fitness Blog, saying, “You’ve heard breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but the RIGHT breakfast is the key to starting your day with energy, productivity, and alertness.”

Not up for cooking? Sagar presents Top 50 Vegan and Vegetarian Restaurants in the World posted at Travelhacker.

We also have several interesting vegetarian-themed posts this time. Franco presents Assorted Tips: Switching To A Vegetarian And Vegan Diet posted at Assorted Tips. Paul Davison presents Making Mike Vick Wrong, or Why I’m a Vegetarian posted at monkeyinmymind.com.

Elaine Vigneault presents Why A Vegan Blog? posted at Vegan Soapbox, saying, “Here is a quick overview of why vegans blog.” vigilanat20 has started a Veg-A-Month Club! at Viggie’s Veggies.

And for those interested in weight loss, James D. Brausch presents Do Microwave Ovens Make You Fat? posted at Weight Loss Dude, and Randy Powell presents Ramblings of a fat man posted at Eating-Veggies.com: Alkaline Diet blog.

That’s it for this edition. Submit your blog article to the next edition of the vegetarian carnival using the carnival submission form. Past posts and future hosts can be found on the blog carnival index page. And as always, contact me if you’re interested in hosting a future edition on your blog.

Happy Thanksgiving!

    Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks for hosting this carnival. :)

  2. I’m really looking forward to the next vegetarian carnival. I guess the next carnival will be approximately on mid of Jan?.

  3. Jul says:

The carnivals are occurring on an irregular basis for now – whenever I accrue enough entries and have time to put the next one together, I’ll do it. Maybe after the new year I’ll put together a schedule again.
