H is for…
Herniated discs: also called slipped discs, bulging discs or ruptured discs, they can happen anywhere along the spine, from the neck right down to the lower back.
H.pylori: It used to be thought that stomach ulcers were caused by stress and/or diet. Doctors now know that many ulcers are caused by a bacteria called helicobacter pylori, or H.pylori. If you’d like to read about H.pylori and its connection to ulcers, here are some links for you:
Headaches: Most people get the odd headache every now and then. Unfortunately, many people live with daily headaches or head pain that can affect their quality of life. The headaches can range from stress headaches to tension headaches, to cluster headaches to migraines.
Hip replacements: Although hip replacements are to help manage or eliminate pain, they belong in this list too. Some people wait much longer than they should before undergoing a hip replacement, but these replacements give people a new lease on life.
