about Tangled Thread

Hello all, I just wanted to take a few moments to introduce myself and give you some background info

Let’s start off with me… I’m a professional designer, artist, puppeteer.  I’ve been creating since I was old enough to hold a needle & thread (in fact, my mother still has a piece of “embroidery” I did when I was three)   I use many different techniques in my work, from machine embroidery & quilting, to painting, to different styles of hand-embroidery & beading.

I’m happily married, with no kids and three dogs… not to mention my collection of tropical plants that threaten to overwhelm my sewing table.

Tangled Thread is all about celebrating the different ways we create fiber art.  Whether you like to sew your own clothing, make fabric jewelry or love to create intricate hand-embroidered pieces – you’re all welcome here!
