I’m sure it was more than lonely.
Today, I’m sure many kids are staying home after school because they too have to help and be a caregiver.
I wish I could wipe away all the tears from the caregivers, but maybe I can wipe away a few.

When I cared for my failing grandmother this would have been the best thing ever. I was 27 when they came to live with us and I didn’t leave the house for two years until they both passed away. I take that back…I went to church on Sundays but that was it. It was a lonely time. I would be on board with this type of program for sure.
