It was from ABC news health section about doing a section on autism at their site. She called me as I was cooking eggs for a quick bite before we headed off to the Zoo so I was a bit distracted. It is heartening to see so many people, from all over the world, object to the inconsiderate behavior of Alex’s teacher. Reportedly over 1,000 e-mails have been sent to his school district. In reading the various posts about what occurred, there were quite a number of comments that spoke about teachers who are going about the business of teaching in a very caring and considerate manner. They seem to get it. I think it would be great if those school districts also received 1,000 e-mails. Each message telling them how proud we are of Ms. XYZ and to let her attitude be contagious.
