All I Want For Christmas Is……

December 23, 2007 by Kristina Chew, PhD

……a garbage truck, in the case of 15-year-old Zachary Harrison. The December 22nd KUTV notes that indeed got his wish, times three……

Myself, I would be glad with things far smaller. One 25-hour-day per week; a pound of coffee always to be found in the freezer.Ok, while I’m asking, two more things: A smooth transition to middle school for Charlie next year. More adventures on the subway and around New York with my two guys.

I guess that’s a fourfold wish—-the last two are most wished for.

(Though coffee always helps.)

  3. A Scammell Explorer would suit me fine, but where I would get the fuel to run one I don’t know, maybe I will just compromise with a green goddess, though where I would get the fuel to run one I don’t know, maybe I will just compromise with a somewhat battered old landie, but where I will get the fuel to run one I don’t know , takes a lot of gas to get to Wales.

Yep I always wanted a land rover and now I have one :)

  4. We are due for a new car ourselves due to one finally succumbing after years of service—-a “necessary” present.
