All We Are Saying…
It struck me recently that there are a few locations I have visited that are so inexplicably ephemeral, so stunningly gorgeous and even strangely spiritual. So much so, one might be tempted to murmer…”the whole world must be this glorious. How can it be possible for the entire planet not to be this lovely all the time?”
Well, unless you are on your honeymoon staring into the blue, blue Aegean Sea… you are reminded with sorrow that some parts of the world are far from tranquil…and many of its people are far from hopeful.
Listening to Bono or John Lennon will move your heart…but it is your donations which help those who are suffering.
I thought I might pass along a couple of organizations that might help you deliver your own messages to your fellow world citizens.
Whether you are saying: “thanks”, or “sorry”, or “thinking of you”…every little bit helps:
The Mercy Corps: Helping displaced children in the Middle East
Let’s Say Thanks: A program which lets you support American troops by designing and sending a postcard, sponsored by Xerox.
World Trade Center Memorial Fund: because, come on now…get it done.
And for our canine heros: The National Disaster Search Dog Foundation: because we owe them more than a tennis ball.
That’s all I am saying…

What a great reminder to help those less fortunate than ourselves.

Hope you are well…
Thanks for your kind note. We forget sometimes how lucky we are…
