I lived 275 miles from my mom...not so long distance when compared with many people. But it was frustrating when I couldn't be at her home as much as I wanted and had difficulty finding people to help with her. That was more than 15 years ago. It's good to find so many groups and organizations cropping up to help with long distance (and local) caregiving for Alzheimer's patients. Great article with lots of resources, Liz.
