The first stop for anyone looking for information on Alzheimer’s Disease around the world should be Alzheimer’s Disease International (ADI). This British based organization aims to raise global awareness about Alzheimer’s Disease. They maintain a database of Alzheimer’s Organizations by country and a calender listing all international events and conferences, complete with details and contact information. ADI also produce factsheets, booklets, and a newsletter, Global Perspectives.
I’ll be using ADI’s organization database as the launching point for a series of posts looking at ‘Alzheimer’s Disease Around the World’. Each week I will focus on one country, starting next week with New Zealand.
