A two minute slideshow of people living in an Alzheimer’s facility in Orange County. This project by Mary Amor was done for the 2005 OCC Social Issues Documentary Photography Scholarship.

  1. Thanks for sharing this, Liz, and to the video maker for researching. Her video certainly makes us aware of the discouragements for the patient and the family that Alzheimer’s causes. And we need this awareness. However, I discovered, when caring for my mom (in her home, my home, and at the nursing home) we shared moments of joy that now take upper place in my memory rather than the horrors of the disease.
