Are there grants available for individuals interested in pursuing certification of art therapy? I am interested in continuing my art education in the direction of art therapy. I received my BFA (1993) and have spent 8 years teaching watercolor painting in assisted living facilities, including the alzheimer’s wings. That was the most rewarding work I ever did. I’m currently unemployed and have a strong desire to pursue licensing/certification in the area of art therapy. I definitely need help with financing. What is your recommendation? I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you
