UK to use new tool to test for Alzheimer’s – “Researchers at the University of Kentucky’s Sanders-Brown Center on Aging will soon begin conducting clinical trials for a Louisville company that is developing an early screening tool for Alzheimer’s disease.” (more)

Report: Infra-Red Helmet Could Reverse Alzheimer’s Disease, Dementia – “An experimental helmet could be the answer to reversing the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, the U.K.’s Daily Mail newspaper reported Sunday. According to the report, British researchers have designed special headgear that bathes the brain with infra-red light and stimulates the growth of brain cells.” (more)
