Brought to mind a real-life version of "The Notebook". Yes, I know that many folks absolutely despise the movie and its depiction of dementia, etc., but I'm not one of them...I've seen too many people over the past 17 years (as a CNA and/or Activity Designee) that are truly, completely devoted to their spouses, "in sickness and in health", to not embrace even a fictional story that encompasses at once the overwhelming sadness, confusion, and incredibly joyful moments these couples share when dealing with this disease.
