We live with each other and respect each other's feelings and opinions (well most of the time, lol). Sometimes when I go clothes shopping I will take him with me so that he can tell me what he thinks about the things I try on. I trust his opinion and I don't want to buy clothing that he doesn't like. He doesn't try to control me and I don't try to control him, but being considerate of one another is important. My husband has 2 tattoos he got before we met. If only I had met him sooner . . . . ;) We talk about things like that.
