And the balcony garden harvest begins

Every day now there’s something to pick out of our balcony garden. Zucchini flowers are blooming faster than we can eat them, so we’re starting to let a few stay on the plant so the zucchinis themselves can get bigger (but no baseball bats!). We get a few juicy strawberries every day, and yesterday harvested our first green pepper.

This is inspirational. My garden space is limited to a few window sills, but I think I will plant some arugula and jalapeno seeds and see how they do.

    Thanks!

Awesome, Monica! I’m telling you, this gardening thing is addictive. :)

Congratulations!! You’re doing well for a limited amount of space. I have a garden but other than tomatoes that suffered mildew, I haven’t tried growing my own food yet.

Mildewed tomatoes! That sounds so sad!

Wish I could do this, my garden is out of whack!

  6. This makes me want a garden…;-)
