Yesterday was a very sad day, as it was the day the world would begin mourning the loss of a wonderful comedian and the star of one of the best parenting shows of all time.
Bernie Mac, much like Bill Cosby, had a wonderful show that shared average everyday looks at issues that arise in most families. We laughed and cried as we watched episode after episode of Bernie sharing his thoughts and solutions with America.
In my opinion, there are few family oriented shows that leave a mark on the hearts of it’s viewers like Bernie Mac did.

I didn’t watch Bernie Mac on his show, but I enjoyed him in Charlie’s Angels.
I watched the shows on the list and I liked them all then. I don’t enjoy the Cosby Show as much in reruns. My daughter loves Family Matters, but I think that’s because she’s an Urkele fan. I also enjoyed Growing Pains, back in the day. I watched every episode. Did you ever catch Grounded For Life? Oh man, that family is hilarious. It’s in reruns somewhere.
