Ann Arbor To Have First Hybrid Bus

Are you excited to ride the very first hybrid bus? Yes, there is a hybrid bus and this first one of its kind is going to be roaring and traveling through the streets of Ann Arbor by next week. The bus is going to be part of the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA). Also, another unit of this public transportation vehicle is also going to be used in Ypsilanti.

This hybrid bus has been the creation of Gillig Corporation which is based in Hayward, California. According to a news report I came across, the bus is one of the first 20 units which would be part of the AATA fleet for next year. The new hybrid buses would be taking over the spots that used to belong to the old buses that are currently roaming on the streets of the area.

I find such hybrid buses to be really cool. I wonder if our place is also going to get at least one soon.
