Another autistic child missing (since Sept 15th)

15-year-old Alexander Murrell has been missing from his Burlington (Canada) home since September 15th; police are calling for the public’s help in finding him. According to an article in today’s AM900CHML.com,

Police say he has the mental capacity of a 6-year old and sometimes pretends to be a reporter or financial advisor.

He is white, 6-feet tall, 240 pounds with short brown hair and may be wearing glasses.

I have lost track of how many similar stories of autistic children who have gone missing I have noted over the past few months.

I hope Alexander is found soon—five days is a long time to be missing and unaccounted for.

Elopement—wandering—has been a not-uncommon story in the news both this summer and in general. [...]
