Mary Emma Allen, over at Quilting and Patchwork, posted an interview that she did with me on the subject of collecting and using vintage fabrics. She focuses mostly on how older fabrics can be inspiring and on where you would get them in the first place. As I told her, I was lucky enough to have a family stash of clothing to get me started down the road to ruin down the path of using vintage fabrics!

I LOVE the old chenille & the barkcloth! Some of the antique lace is to die for!! Thanks for your article.

The hardest part is actually getting myself to *use* them…I just like fondling them too much LOL!!!

    Cyndi,
I enjoyed interviewing you and learning about your vintage fabrics…how you collect them and use them. It was also fun to discover we don’t live too far from one another in New England! Yes, it is difficult to bring yourself to use some of them.
