I’ve been spending some time painting some foil backgrounds to use. The scans and photographs don’t really capture the full effect of the metallic surface just below the thin washes of acrylic paint. These are really a lot of fun to paint and to use in your work. Tomorrow, I’ll share what you need to know in order to paint on foil without frustration!
