Apparently I’m not the only one…

I wrote yesterday that Graco needs a smack in the head for their slogan. After I wrote that post, Bryan over at Sympathy Pain sent me a note saying that he thought the exact same thing. He actually took it one step further and wrote a note to Graco to state that their tag line seems a little out of date.

He makes a very good point in his letter stating;

First of all, with my wife at almost thirty weeks, we have had our first shower. Because of the pregnancy, she will not be the one assembling the products manufactured by your company.

My wife was at 35 weeks when ours arrived… she’s having trouble bending over to tie shoes, so she’s not going to be contorting into shapes to assemble any baby paraphernalia. Many fathers and husbands will put products together, and not for sexist reasons but for the very practical “pregnant women move like penguins” reason.
