apparently I’ve been tagged

My mom just tagged me (when I wasn’t looking – how unfair!) with a meme.   Here are the rules: You need to share 7 things about yourself that people don’t know, and then tag 7 more people do do the meme.

Here are my seven facts:

1. I have a hard time starting my morning without a cup of coffee.
2.  I’ve got a weird taste in music – I don’t do country music, but I love jazz, world beat and electronica.
3. I learned how to use “expressive language”  in Latin when I was being bullied in school as a child.
4. I didn’t write my grade 3 departmental exams because my parents pulled me out of school early to go touring with their puppet company.
5. Other than blogging, my other “day” job is my own puppet company.
6. I own a parrot (or more precisely, she tolerates my company in exchange for the occasional head scratch and unlimited amounts of parrot food)
7. I’m still scared of spiders – I guess you just don’t grow out of some phobias…
