Aquarium Bubblers

During my visit to the Florida Aquarium recently, I checked out their Aquariumania exhibit. If you’re a fishkeeper, it’s worth the trek up the stairs. I found the exhibit on vintage bubblers especially fun.

Even though these types of bubblers are the subject of ridicule by many hobbyists, they do provide important aeration. Aeration increases the amount of oxygen in the tank and reduces toxic gas from waste.
Can you get aeration without a diver or mermaid? Sure, but aren’t they fun?
Do you provide extra aeration in your fish tank?
