Archibald’s Swiss Cheese Mountain, a Giveaway

Sylvia Lieberman never thought that she would be a published author. But when she found her long ago written manuscript in a drawer her daughter and granddaughter begged her to take it to a publisher. Yes, it was that good. I was even named the “Best Children’s Book of 2008″ at the Hollywood Book Festival.

“Archibald’s Swiss Cheese Mountain, tells the tale of Archibald Mouse, who is just getting his first taste of independence—and discovers a mountain of cheese in the middle of a grocery store. Determined to reach this cheese, and never have to go hunting for food again, Archibald chases his dream, overcoming all obstacles in his path—only to discover that being King of the Swiss Cheese Mountain wasn’t what he expected. ” – PR By the Book

You can find more information about Archibald the Mouse at his own website. Yes, even mice are online these days. But…he does have BIG dreams.

Guidelines for the giveaway:

We have one copy of the book to giveaway.

Please leave your name and email address in the comments below ( your email will not be shared). “Archibald the Mouse” sounds like a very fun story with a message. Being King isn’t always what it’s wrapped up to be. I have a special little person who would enjoy this book. Please enter me in your delightful book drawing. Many thanks, Cindi

Since I’m a children’s author, I always enjoy learning about the author’s story and how he/she came to write a particular book. Thanks for sharing this story, Marcie, as well as including a copy of her book in the giveaway.

  8. Dani' says:

I would get this for my youngest dd. She is getting more into reading.

  9. Amy Fenner says:

Our youngest (and final) child absolutely adores reading books. Many time throughout the day she will choose a book and bring it to me to read. I am so happy that she’s taken an early interest in reading, and intend to foster it in any way possible. All too soon she’ll be ready to read on her own and won’t need mommy to read it to her anymore :(
