Are you a fan of The Next Food Network Star? I’m behind on checking out this weeks episode. We weren’t home much this weekend, so I didn’t catch the show. I did see that Brett is out, and there’s already some major drama going on.

This season is absurd. Jamika made SPINACH!! And ended up in ESQUIRE!!!! Last week she used a STORE BOUGHT sauce. Eddy(Creepy dude don’t get me wrong)was dumb and used a Paula Dean recipe. But at least he made the food himself! The second she comes in the room, everyone goes,”OMG We love you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Can we wash your feet??” lol. I mean, come on. Honestly, it looks like they’re being a little bit harder on everyone else. In their eyes she can do no wrong. So I thought about it. I couldn’t put my finger on it. Now I have a theory. Double standard. I have seen African-Americans get ahead when others were better. Spinach didn’t belong in Esquire. DEBBIE should have had it. She is SO good. And SOO warm. And I love hearing about her Korean background. When are they going to say ANYTHING negative about her using store bought food. Not right.
