Since I have 5 children that I homeschool, I am bound to have an artist in the bunch:) I have one that loves to draw and every moment he has the opportunity he is drawing….he would love this book:)

  2. Kirsten says:

My son is an avid athlete (age 6), but for the first time in his life, all he wants to do is draw! He has been inspired by his art teacher in first grade who had the kids draw Van Gogh’s Sunflowers on the first day. He has saved his allowance for special markers and paper. I know he’d love The Artist in Me book.

  3. I thought this was great when you highlighted it on One Book, Two Book a few weeks ago!

  4. Erin Addington says:

My daughter, Willow, has declared her intention of being an artist when she grows up, when she isn’t busy with her princess duties. She draws everyday and this book sounds fantastic for her.

I’d give this to my niece, I use to draw alot when I was younger and even had my work displayed at musuems and it would be fun to get my niece started with drawing and hopefully inspire her :)

  6. Go Amie says:

    My sister would love this!

  7. Sandy says:

I would love this for the kids and myself

  8. Karen says:

Our newly adopted son is such an artist! He is creating constantly. He generously makes and draws for everyone around. When he came to live with us 6 months ago, I gave him his own ‘art cabinet’ and filled it with some simple supplies. It is amazing what this little boy can do with colored paper, tape and crayons. This kit would be such a great gift to a little guy that hasn’t had much in his life. I know he would be thrilled if he won.

  9. Piseco says:

I would love this book (and its companion!) to use as I homeschool my two kids. Thanks!

  10. Kristine says:

There is an artist in me that is screaming to be let loose! This might be a good start.

  11. Amy says:

I love to draw in my spare time. My daughter has also taken to drawing and painting and she’s quite good. This is something I could share with her during our Mommy and Me time.
