Are You Dealing with Cancer As Well As Alzheimer’s?

Alzheimer’s disease is not always an isolated diagnosis. Often the patient has other difficulties and health problems…stroke aftermath, diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, cancer, etc. I was fortunate that Mother was in relatively good health other than dealing with Alzheimer’s.
However, often the caregiver and/or other family members have health problems., too, which makes the caretaking more difficult.
If you are dealing with cancer, too, either yourself or your patient, you may find one of the latest b5 media Science and Health channel blogs of great interest and help. Karen Lynch writes Pink Ribbon Review about breast cancer. You also may want to read Karen’s survivor story.
Are you facing more than Alzheimer’s in your caregiving role…either with your patient or yourself? Perhaps your story will help others if you share.
