Ooo- one other thing I thought of on the bottled water topic. Take this as you will, but when my cousin was nearly passed out after his wedding two years ago (a combo of a few too many brews @ the rehearsal dinner, nerves, rediculously hot and humid weather in Central PA [like now - HA!] a non-air-conditioned church and reception @ a tent in the backyard) a Dr. in the fam said absolutely no bottled water! ONLY from the tap, as it's been regulated while bottled water is not requred to be. Just a little tidbit I wanted to pass along...

Hi, Gabrielle.
Thanks for posting a comment on my site at http://www.toptenz.net/top-ten-wines-under-ten-dollars.php . I really like this blog and the focus on all things green and I think you could write a great top ten list for it. I would give full credit and a link directly to your excellent blog. I get about 2000 visitors per day so you could receive a large amount of traffic. If you are interested, please email me at admin[at]toptenz.net.

In any case, thanks for the comment!

I'm totally with you margalit and do my best to re-use my bottles and to my joy and happiness tap water here does NOT taste like dirty river or swimming pool! =) I am sad that I am no where near any of the stores that carry Primo, since it IS so delicious and non-plastic-y tasting. =( If it were @ the Hess station, I would be all OVER it. =)

margalit, you're right - tap water in my favorite insulated coffee mug is what I prefer to have in my hand, but for those days when that mug is being used for coffee or left in the car, the (non-petroleum based) bottle is a decent alternative. Thanks for your comment!

For most people water is a necessity and very healthy. But for women who tend to overstimulate and bloat, water can be VERY dangerous. Of course, one should consult their doctor, but it's important to know that many people should not be drinking 8 glasses of water per day.

Also, bottled water? Why not use your tap water (filtered if you like) in a pcb free bottle. Not only is it free, it's healhier for the environment.

Here from NCLM.

Hey, that water sounds nice and warm and fuzzy - I'll have to try it.

And yes, drinking that much water is HARD. WHen I was briefly pregnant, and had to drink a ton, my husband would regularly call me to remind me to drink. And now I only drink water because I got used to it, but I do miss my gatorade and pop.
