Are you Googleable?

You can do everything on the internet — pay bills, shop, buy movie tickets and even find out information about your date. According to It’s Just Lunch, the premier dating service for busy professionals, who conducted a survey of 1,167 singles, 43% of singles have Googled someone on the internet before a first date. When asked if they would be offended if their date Googled them — 88% of singles said, “No way, I Googled them too.”

I’ll be the first to admit being a Googler.  I Google lots of people!  With the abilities of today’s technology, I think you’d be foolish not to utilize the offerings.

Do you Google your dates?  If so, did it make or break the date?

The one Google search that blew a date for me was…

…with an attorney.  I found by Google search that he had defended a person who had been found guilty FOUR times prior of the same crime against young children.  Having children of my own, I could not see how anyone could, in their right mind, defend such a person.

I know everyone deserves a fair trial, but I don’t have to date the one who defends them!

Sometimes, I do. Especially if the guy is pretty secretive. You can’t imagine how some searches turned out for me! Google is pretty handy even if it feels like you’re stalking the person. Hahaha.
