Are you watching tonight’s episode of Supernanny?

I know, odd question for Offbeat Homes, but one of our own (here at b5media) is being featured. I don’t normally watch Supernanny because she drives me batty but I might break down and watch simply because Kadi Prescott and her family will be the featured family. Kadi is one of the co-bloggers over at Guerrilla Parenting (formerly Supernanny Rules).  Since that’s another blog in the Lifestyles Channel – it’s sort of like family is going to be on TV.

In any case, it should be interesting – I actually should have posted this sooner. I ALWAYS forget that I’m one of the only people I know on the West coast, so I always assume we have more time than we actually all do.

If you want more details, check out the live chat during tonight’s episode of Supernanny – Gayla’s got that going on over at Guerrilla Parenting.

And good luck Kadi – there’s not enough $ in the world to make me go on a reality TV show – so props to you for having that much guts.

Wait, you know, I’d go on TV, but it would have to be on What’s With That House? Now there’s a good reality show. And George is the bomb when it comes to offbeat abodes. Double bonus he’s kind of like crazy eye candy… did I just say that?

  1. Gayla McCord says:

It is kinda like family, isn’t it? Gosh I feel like my sister is going on television or something. I’m nervous for her.

I just hope the meanies don’t come out of the woodwork on her afterwards. Since meeting Kadi, I’ve tried to be a bit nicer in my follow up posts on the episodes, where I can anyway :)

  2. I think I’m one of the meanies – I always think the parents on that show look so lost and often mean. But you know why, I think, they must show the worst on TV because it makes “good” TV.

I mean, I don’t agree with all Kadi’s posts but she’s not a nut either – we just have very different parenting styles. I hope she does ok too. I’d be shaking right about now, having my life viewed like that.
