The Arizona State University is now planning on using the power of the sun to give energy to their campus. The officials of the university has already announced what that they are going to be putting in solar panels on campus and they are predicting that those panels would be able to give power to one-fifth of the whole energy consumption of the school.

Bud Annan is one of the leaders of the solar project and he says, “If you want to be a premier solar research facility, you should make the commitment to use solar energy on your own facility. I think this really shows that the University has that commitment to sustainability that they’ve said they do.”

Annan furthermore shared that they are going to start working on their plans early next year. All of the expenses on the project would be shouldered by a private company. However, they still are deciding on which company they would be signing the project to.
