As Were Were… to Where We Will Go.

As we Were...

Just quickly to let you know that Marye & I are talking and working on things. She is tenacious, we had a long talk in a parked van on Saturday. She figured she had a captive audience.

We had our first Christian Counseling session yesterday and a coffee date afterward. Even after the counseling we are still on speaking terms. Nothing new, just the groundwork and our objectives.

Marye and I are committed to one another. That has not changed. It won’t change. As y’all know from reading our posts over the past eight months, we are committed and we are real.

Does that Make us Real Committed?

We have agreed to make progress and set small attainable goals for each of us to start off with. I am sure with the counselor there will be assignments and other goals to come.

So we are on this path, to travel to infinity & beyond, together.

  1. So glad to hear it!

I just have gotten to the point of doubting my own relationship and I’m trying to find a happy medium here…..

..thanks for letting us know how you are both doing… the commitment is necessary.

Thank for you for the update. While I am not a Christian, I did love reading your blog and discussing it with my husband. It really helped to open up communications between us again.

Just to let you know that six months later things are going much better with “us”. Though we are still having areas of conflict, most of what we were dealing with back in the beginning of the year is better. Not fully resolved , but better.

My medicines have been adjusted so that “Mr. Hyde” is gone from our household, while managing most of my physical pain. My libido is much better since mt testosterone levels are up again. My Primary Care Physician finally agreed to supplement after my MH provider messaged him and told him if he didn’t then MH would supplement it to treat my depression.

I have struggled with some of the same $$ issues that brought this all to a head. But I am improving and continuing to work on it. But overall we are much better.

I started blogging about mountain biking on my own for fun(Dallasmtb.com), but not ready to re-enter the marriage blog which B5 droppped. Marye is still doing a fantastic job with Bakingdelights.com and her new cookbook is about to release. (The Everything cookies & Brownies Cookbook)

    Blessings,

    Marc
