Attending My Daughter’s Quilt/Fiber Arts Exhibit

What fun to attend a Grand Opening and Reception for a Quilt/Fiber Arts Exhibit, especially when your daughter is one of the six fiber artists!  This was a culmination of Beth’s venturing into various types of quilting and experimenting with many fabrics and fibers.

Most of the projects at this exhibit, Texture-Textiles-Techniques, at the Artistic Roots Art Center in Campton, NH,  were wall hangings and even a fiber mobile.  Each artist in this group, who call themselves The Fiber Explorers, has her individual style and subject matter.  All drew raves from the attendees.

Of course, Mom was very pleased to see her daughter’s work on display and find her receiving accolades for her creativity.

Photos of the exhibit are posted on Beth’s blog at http://meanderingthreads.blogspot.com .
