Australian report: Gardasil vaccine safe for teen girls

The controversial new vaccine to prevent infection of human papillomavirus, Gardasil (Never discuss politics, religion or – Gardasil – at a dinner party) has gotten both good and bad press. Now, an Australian report has weighed in on the positive side.
Of 380,000 doses given to teen girls, 35 girls experienced hives, rashes, tissue swelling , or severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis).
