While I dug out from a crazy week of late nights and travel at the day job last week, some of the top brains in the hair biz were in Vancouver at the Fifth International Congress on Hair Research. Baldness isn’t the only topic on the agenda; they’ll be covering everything hair related. Too much… too little… causes and chemo… transplants to tissue engineering… Soup to nuts! Get set, everyone! The 2008 US Presidential Election is only… well… 17 or so months away. Start planning those Super Tuesday parties now. Here at Baldiness, we don’t have much to say about politics, but we are going to follow a couple candidates. Politicians – particularly Presidential candidates – tend to be aging, while males… not coincidentally, in my opinion, the same demographic most likely to experience androgenic alopecia! Last month I was notified of a new company, Couture for Cancer. I was getting ready to head out of town for a few days, but I said I’d take a look when I returned.* What is Couture for Cancer?
