I have a few tips to help you set a beautiful dinner table for your holiday feast. Whether you are preparing a meal for two or for twenty you can create a festive setting for your meal. It doesn’t matter if all of your place settings match, work with what you have. First, make sure to created a welcoming table. You can use candles to do that. They don’t have to be twenty dollar pillar candles, use what you can afford. Make up a placecard for each guest and a napkin holder. Thrifty Magazine Holder

I am an avid reader and that includes magazines. My problem is that I don’t like to store my unread magazines with those that I have already finished reading. It was becoming a problem until I found this project that I am going to share with you today. It is a plain old magazine holder that I dressed up a little bit to make it look pretty. Foaming Bubble Baths

Foamy Bubble Baths I hope you enjoyed the last two recipes I gave you for Bath Salts. It’s nice to take some time and soak in the tub. It relieves stress and put moisture into your skin. You especially need that moisture when the weather turns cold. I know that a lot of people like to take bubble baths, yours truly include, so I have a couple of recipes for you today. The first one is Rose Bubble Bath. This is silky to the touch. Fabric Frame

If you are a quilter or a sewer who always has extra scraps laying around after completing a project, then I have the perfect craft for you. You can take those scraps, or even some inexpensive themed material and make a fabulous fabric frame. It is easy to do and costs mere pennies. Kathy Zengolewicz Here is what you will need to get started: A wooden frame (an unfinished, flat frame is best) Some fabric (or scraps) Two sided tape (Treasure tape works well) Tape dots A few buttons for decoration Satin ribbon for trim (¼ inch) Start out by putting the two sided tape on your frame, sticky side down. Recycled CD Letter Holder

Do you have a lot of old, unusable CDs in you house? I do. I don’t like to throw anything away so I thought I would do a little bit of research and find a way to use those old compact discs. Here is one of the crafts I found that was relatively easy to do and cost next to nothing to make. Kathy Zengolewicz Here is what you will need to get started: Styrofoam Heart 6 x 1 inch Floral quilting fabric A serrated knife Paraffin or a candle stub Wide, flat paintbrush Ruler Paper towels Low temp glue gun and glue sticks White, thick craft glue First cut three or four 5 ½ inch squares from the fabric.
