Awaiting the Winner of The Next Food Network Star

It is only a couple of hours until the winner of the Next Food Network Star, but some people have already had their fun spoiled.
It appears that this past week for about an hour, the Food Network site had accidentally shown the winner along with promos of the upcoming show. When I initially read about this, I thought that this must have just been Internet rumors. In the past, the Food Network fans cast the vote in regards to the winner, so I thought this could not have happened. Well, it appears that the Food Network execs do not want to leave it in our hands and a winner will be declared by the judging panel tonight.
There has been no mention of the reasons why they have changed this aspect of the competition. Do I sense a little lack of trust? Hmm..well, you can still vote for the fan favorite. I assume that next week will be a reunion show and the fan favorite will be announced.
So, we wait. I happen to know what the outcome will be this evening, though I have no idea the “how’s”. If you don’t mind the outcome being spoiled for you and you want to read about the on-line screw-up…click here. If you don’t want to read this story now, it makes for an interesting tidbit of information once the winner is “officially” announced.

It gets so much worse, I just innocently looked on Wikipedia for the series, and under Finalists under Season 4 they are showing the winner before it even airs, how HORRIBLE!
I’m not going to look. I just hope it’s not the self centered, stuck to her rich successful self Lisa. I’ll give her credit that she knows alot but that doesn’t make a star. She already has everything in life and doesn’t deserve a show riding on her husbands coat tails. She’s in it for the glory. I’m voting for Aaron because of his willingness to share his love for the profession which is something Lisa is far lacking. To know food is one thing, but to know and love food in all it’s ways and to have that passion is a whole different world.
It was probably fun waiting….Lisa I don’t think is horrible…she just lacks some genuineness…I think she is trying, but it comes off fake. Something tells me that she is probably a difficult person to get to know in real life. Aaron is that guy next door or a friend you go hang with.
And I can’t believe that happened on wikipedia!!
