Baby room with no baby
Okay people, this is starting to drive me nuts. I want me a baby! My wife is now 5 days overdue and I’m overtired and over anxious. Initially one of my biggest fears was that I would not finish the nursery before the little one arrived. Well, I’m done, but no boy.
As you may recall, the nursery renovation project has been quite an undertaking. I tore out the old walls, ceiling, insulation, carpet and electric and redid everything from scratch. While there are some minutia to adjust and some decorations needed for the walls, the basic room is done.
If he doesn’t show up soon I may move in there myself (my bed doesn’t have a Winnie the Pooh mobile over it.)
I can’t imagine how she feels but I know the anticipation you feel. Hang in there.
