Bach’s Rescue Remedy: Keep It on Hand

Not a lot of people know what Bach’s Rescue Remedy is, even if they walk past it in the health food store.  It is so important, so essential that I really encourage you to keep it on hand.  It is not very expensive and the results are often miraculous.

Bach’s Rescue Remedy is an old formula that literally centers you emotionally and allows you to become calm in almost any circumstance.  I have a tendency to get almost hysterical when I get close to transition in labor and when my son Nick was about to be born I decided that THIS time I was SO going to be in control.

Labor progressed very well and we called the midwife thinking I was quite close.  She came to the house, checked me and was thrilled.

“This will be quick Marye, you are at an 8 and the bag is bulging.”  Yay me!  I decided to start taking dropperfuls of the Rescue Remedy.

I stopped my labor right there and it did not kick in again for several hours.  No contractions, no discomfort, nothing.  Moral? You can get too relaxed with this stuff.

If you have had an emotional trauma, you feel stressed, or you have that PMS-y want to chew on human flesh feeling Rescue Remedy is the answer.

I am not sure what is in it…but it is not prescription and there is no alcohol, or not more than any tincture would have.  It is safe for babies and children..and works great for teething!

Try it.  If you get it at GNC they have a money back guarantee within 30 days…so you can try it a couple of times and see if it works for you.

Oooohhh, I may need to pick some of this up for my on-the-edge three year old. It’s hard to be three and think you are the ruler of the world, you know. This might just chill him out a bit…
