Back to School.. Back to Normal…

Things seem to be back to normal around these parts. After having the new baby the older kids had vacation week and mommy was off to work gradually. It was cold too, and snowy… and I had some fun but it was difficult for me to blog, and concentrate on my online projects.

It was much needed time off for me though. I do feel a little better now that the kids are back to school today and I can jump into my normal routine. Granted I love to spend time with all my kids… and look forward to summer where we can spend all kinds of time together swimming and playing in the sun.

Sun? What is that??

As a native of Maine it is easy to forget what the sun is. Then one day in April the clouds part and out comes the sun. You go out and buy yourself a new set of cool shades because the ones you had last year got lost 6 months ago back when you last needed them.

As you can tell I am tired of cold. I am tired of snow. And I am ready for spring, summer projects, and summer fun in the sun. I would like to get the kids out and do more fishing. I was able to get them out fishing last season a couple times but I would like to get out at least a couple times per week.

That’s what I will do. Make a list of things I want to do this summer…
