September is a busy back-to-school month for parents and students alike… actually mid-August was probably crazier with buying school supplies, clothes (…have you been to Walmart? Those “for-school” shelves were all but empty), handling new schools and classmates. Parents also have to deal with car-pools and schedules anew for everyone in the family and getting the kids’ school-mojos back. In most households, “toxic” is the new vocabulary this month.
However, lest we forget one of the more important preparations for schools, b5media Science and Health bloggers tackled back-to-school topics to help parents start the year right… HEALTHY.
Kristina at Autism Vox hosted this month’s theme – “Back-To-School“. She started the round-up with her son Charlie’s routine and new learning curves. There are so many things to learn about our children’s growth that really, parents must become avid students of their children to help them develop to the best of their potentials.
Here at Kids Health Notes, I wrote about helping our children develop healthy sleeping habits to prepare them for a brighter year.
So read the rest of the theme day posts and you’ll find a tip or two about getting your kids (and yourself) back in shape for school.
