Salsa is not only good for tortilla chips. I discovered today that it would a great sauce backed with chicken as well. So if you have leftover salsas in your fridge, here’s an easy and delicious way to get rid of it.

INGREDIENTS:
4-6 chicken thighs
1/2 jar of salsa
1/4 cup of honey

Preheat over to 375°.

In a bowl, combine the salsa and honey. Mix it together with a whisk until well incorporated.

Pour a little bit of the salsa mixture at the bottom of a baking dish. Place the chicken thighs onto the baking dish. Pour the remaining salsa mixture on top of the chicken. Make sure to equally coat each chicken with the salsa sauce.

Bake it in the oven for about 35-40 minutes.

I told you it was easy right? You don’t need much ingredients because salsa is already loaded with different components in one jar. Adding honey for a sweet taste to balance everything.

    Leftover salsa? Never happens.

  2. Yeah I always have a little bit left in a jar since not everyone in the family like my hot salsa :)
