My husband came home with a mahi-mahi fillet along with a couple of fillet mignon a few days ago and asked if we could have a surf ‘n’ turf kind of meal. I originally planned on pan frying it to have that crispy skin but Hubs wanted it baked, so baked mahi-mahi it was.

INGREDIENTS :
mahi-mahi fillet
2 tbsp sesame oil (use olive oil if you prefer)

1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp Italian seasoning
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper

Preheat the oven to 365°

In a small bowl, combine sesame oil. lemon juice, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt and black pepper. Rub the mixture on both sides of the mahi-mahi.

Place the fish in a pan. Put it in the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
