Baldiness.com Poll: Smoking or Balding

So, you’re still not convinced by the research I cited. Well, I have one final piece of evidence.

In a voluntary poll of visitors to Baldiness.com conducted in late April/early May, 100% or respondents indicated that smoking was less attractive than baldness. 100%! What more do you want! Better bald than suicidal a smoker.

Sorry, that’s probably harsh. I understand the power of addiction and it’s ability to drive a person toward self-destructive behavior. I don’t mean to make light of it. But please, don’t deny the facts. If you smoke, understand and acknowledge what you’re doing to your body, both inside AND out.

To call your poll research is ludicrous. Surely, most of your visitors are bald, and therefore reluctant to consider baldness the least attractive trait. But let us leave them in denial… Given the choice between being bald or a smoker, I know what I would choose. And, I suspect, most bald people would choose to light up as well.

    Lucky,
Lighten up. I know the difference between good statistics and a voluntary poll on a website. You won’t see me rushing to the medical journals for publication.

Having said that, based on those who chose to respond to the poll in question, I’d venture to say that the majority of my visitors would chose to shave their heads.
