Baseball Lover’s Bedroom Ideas

I was watching a rerun of Matt and Sheri’s baseball bedroom theme on HGTV the other day and it inspired me to think of a few ideas for a baseball fan’s bedroom that I’ve been redoing. I thought some of the ideas on the tv show, like using baseball bats as the posters of a four poster bed, were great for the child I am helping.

Other things I’m thinking of doing include:

• Framing reproduction photos of baseball legends for a wall collage.
• Attaching pegs to a wooden bat and hanging it vertically on a skinny wall to display a collection of baseball caps.
• Drilling a hole in the middle of a glove so I can screw it into a wooden base with the open part facing up to make a bowl for little bureau top junk.
• Cutting a piece of plywood into a glove shape and spray painting it with three or four layers of chalk paint to make a chalk board. (Okay, okay. Getting someone else to cut a piece of plywood into a glove shape!)
