April’s Grass Moon
I am finished!! The year-long project known as the Bead Journal Project is drawing to a close, and my journal pages are all completed! You can see the entire set of them on Why Not Art, my mixed media website. I decided to make April’s page lush and crowded, the way I remember spring being when I lived in the more fertile and warmer regions of Pennsylvania instead of here in New England, where I’ve been for the past twenty-some years. Spring comes earlier back home
You can find links to more of the Bead Journal Project’s participants on Robin Atkin’s blog.

They are beautiful! But now that the pages are finished how will you display them?
These beaded pages are fabulous!
Thanks Lizbeth!!
Hi Carolyn! Thank you too!
I’m making a beaded book cover that they’ll fit into in two piles. Originally I thought about stitching them together, but they’re really not set up for it.
wow! you have done an amazing job on your beaded journal pages! I had wanted to participate in the project but just didn’t have time…you should be very pleased with your accomplishment! What is your plan for the pages…are you going to bind them? If you do, would love to see the finished product!
Thanks JoAnne! I hope you’ll be able to do the BJP this time when it starts up again in September
I’ll be putting all my pages together into a beaded book cover. It’ll take awhile to make though!
