Best Father’s Day Movies

As Father’s Day approaches, you find yourself wondering what to do with your dad. Fish? Fiddle with the car? How about doing both and then vegging out on the couch for a few hours to recharge your batteries? After a drawn out discussion with several guys, I’ve come up with a list of several great movie dads. (Warning: These are not necessarily all guy movies!)

- Commando – Arnold Schwarzenegger plays John Matrix, a Blisstree › Edit Post — WordPressdad who rescues his daughter from some serious bad guys.
- Any of the Die Hard movies - Bruce Willis plays John McClane, a good guy who wipes up the floor with anyone who dares to threaten his family.
- Father of the Bride – Steve Martin’s goofy character George Banks sincerely loves his baby girl.
- The Yearling – Gregory Peck is fabulous as Pa Ezra Baxter in this tear jerker about a boy coming of age.
- Superman – Boys who want an understanding, supportive dad are jealous of Superman for more than his super powers. Mr. Kent is an awesome father.
