Have you been wondering how the bird flu has spread? MSNBC has an interactive timeline map that shows the where and when of the spread of H5N1.

From Their site: “The deadly strain of avian influenza known as H5N1 has caused infections in humans, poultry, wild birds and other animals. And it’s no longer just Asia’s problem. The virus has spread rapidly to the Middle East, Europe and Africa.”

The majority of the spread of the disease has been in just the last 6-8 months. It makes you wonder how soon it will reach North America.
