One of my favorite bloggers wrote a heartfelt post just under two years ago on how thankful she is for her beautiful and spirited daughter whom she relinquished for adoption at birth.

Please read her elegant words.

  1. K. says:

You will find if you read more of her blog that she really suffers because she relinquished her daughter and was totally duped by the adoption agency that facilitated the adoption.
The truth is she wishes her daughter was NOT adopted and she carries a huge amount of grief and loss because her daughter is adopted and not with her.

Please stop trying to promote adoption as a joyful experience.

I read her blog often and I know that she wishes she had not relinquished her. However, the post said nothing about adoption…it specifically says that she loves her beautiful daughter.

And, adoption is a joyous experience. Admittedly, it is not always joyous for everyone but adoption allows families to be formed.
